What I love about this dish is that it seems so fancy, but takes about as much time to put together as it does to make a frozen pizza. I’m all about minimal stress – maximum payoff. And the payoff here is big. The flatbread itself is pre-made. In the past few years naan bread has been popping up in supermarkets everywhere, but if your store doesn’t carry it you can absolutely use readymade mini pizza crust. I, personally, love the flatbread from Aldi. The toppings (prosciutto, goat cheese, sage, honey) pack a big flavor punch all on their own, so you don’t have to do a whole lot to them. Just toast the bread, spread on the cheese, throw the rest on top and voilà! You’ve got an hors d’oeuvre on a table full of appetizers. Bring a prosciutto and goat cheese flatbread to your next event and I promise that all the guests will *oooo* and *ahhh* and crown you queen of the party. Or they might just say thank you, but it’s a winner in my book either way.
